About me
Mark Sellings wildlife photography

“When I grow up, I want to be a naturist”

There you have it, the (slightly misguided) mission statement made by my younger self.

I was fortunate enough to have parents who actively encouraged a passion for wildlife and the environment at an early age. Like many, somewhere along the way, what with studying and working in London, I lost sight of what was essential for making me happy in life – some mud, some trees and an animal or two.

Moving down to Devon rekindled my interest in getting out and about in the British countryside, and once I had seen the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum, I knew then what I would be doing for the next decade.

Supporting wildlife

I try and support various wildlife charities either through donations, voluntary work such as coppicing and scrub clearing for the Barn Owl Trust, and also by offering my services as a photographer. If you are a wildlife charity and you think I can be of help please contact me at info@marksellings.com.
